AstroKul collects information to provide accurate Vedic and Lal Kitab calculations, client management tools, and subscription services. The information we collect includes:
- Personal Details: Name, Gender, Email Address, and Phone Number when registering or submitting a contact form.
- Astronomical & Chart Details: Date of Birth, Time of Birth, and Place/City of Birth to compute horoscopes, planetary positions, dashas, and daily panchang.
- In-App Purchase & Billing Identifiers: Anonymous transaction IDs, receipt tokens, and subscription status returned by Apple App Store (StoreKit) and Google Play Billing. We do not store or process your credit card, debit card, or Apple ID/Google account passwords on our servers.
- Location Coordinates: Latitude, longitude, and timezone details of the birth place to ensure accurate astronomical maps.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your details are processed to generate charts, manage client profiles, process active subscriptions, and maintain your workflow:
- To perform Lal Kitab and Vedic horoscope calculations.
- To enable the creation and storage of client consultation notes, speech notes, and schedules.
- To verify In-App Purchase subscription receipts with Apple App Store & Google Play Store servers.
- To power developer APIs and enable PDF report generation.
3. In-App Purchases & Third-Party Processing
All in-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions conducted on iOS and Android devices are handled directly by Apple Inc. (via iTunes/App Store) and Google LLC (via Google Play Store). These third-party payment platforms operate under their own privacy policies. AstroKul receives only verified transaction receipt identifiers required to activate your subscription features.
4. Data Security & Confidentiality
We implement strict security measures to protect your account and data. Client consultation notes are confidential and accessible only via authenticated user sessions. We never sell, lease, or distribute your personal details or birth charts to third parties.
5. Account Deletion & Data Retention
You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time:
- Managing Deletion: You can request account deletion directly through your account settings inside the app or web portal.
- Email Deletion Request: You can also email us at help.astrokul@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from your registered email address.
- Data Purging: Upon verifying your request, your personal profile, stored charts, consultation notes, and credentials will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
